Sharing in a non-sharing world: finding our way back to a liveable world

Presenter: Emmanuel Karisa Baya

Emmanuel lives in the deep rural coastal province of Kenya in Kilifi County. He is a Process Work Diplomate, a faculty member with the Deep Democracy Institute, and a co-developer of DDI East Africa. He is a regenerative farmer, conflict resolver, and politician. Emmanuel's title and session will bring the "Living in an Unliveable World" series full circle to the first session with Anton Ermolenko in the midst of war in Kyiv, Ukraine, and the question: "Is it possible to make an unliveable world liveable?" Emmanuel'sexperince is yes, and his session will make visible his approach.

A pluriverse approach for enhanced decolonization initiatives

I hope to give a 15 minute introduction with my understanding of some core elements of the approach and maybe 1 or 2 examples of our struggles and learning and how it helped me in on my learning path and work,  but then the main focus is to have an open discussion where we can learn from each other through exchanging our diverse experiences of the trials and tribulations of theory and practice and community life for Process Work, in my mind, an awareness based liberation and regeneration paradigm, for the individual as well as for the community they live in.
